The latest season of The Kardashians brought a lot more drama from the Kardashian-Jenner clan to the forefront. It also featured Kourtney Kardashian’s conflicting ideas from those of her real and step-sisters. However, what caught the viewers’ attention was the 47-year-old’s rant over Jennifer Lawrence. 

The show’s viewers got to witness Kardashian’s reaction to Lawrence’s comment on her from last year. According to the Daily Mail, the show’s season eight premiere saw the 47-year-old sharing the aftermath of the Hunger Games star’s brutal dig at her. In the premiere, Kardashian said, “F— that b—- Jennifer Lawrence,” while chatting with her pal Simon Huck in the car. 

Her brutal jab came in reference to the Passengers star’s Vanity Fair interview in which she gave a lie detector test with Robert Pattinson. In the November 2025 interview, Lawrence was shown Khloe Kardashian’s picture by the Twilight star, who asked her, “Is this woman your favorite Kardashian?”

Lawrence immediately responded with a “yes” and later gave her verdict on the eldest Kardashian sister. She said, “Kourtney is more annoying than ever.” When asked why she said so by Pattinson, the Red Sparrow star continued, “She drives me nuts,” before adding, “Because everything has to be an announcement. It’s like, “I’m not going to wear outfits anymore.’”

The actress further said, “Just wear whatever you want. Don’t make an announcement about it.” “Or, ‘I don’t have a TV in my room.’ Just don’t watch TV. Stop announcing it,” she added.

Simon also brought up the “very nice” email Kardashian received from Lawrence following the interview. In the text, the mother of four then recalled discussing the incident with her mother, Kris Jenner. She recalled telling the momager that she must invite Lawrence so she could treat her like one of her sisters. 

Kardashian told her mother, “OK, she thinks she’s one of my sisters? I’ll f***ing slap the s*** out of her!” However, she later pointed out that it was nice of Lawrence to write to her that she felt like one of her sisters after the famous interview. At first she wondered how the actress got her contact details. However, she later revealed that it was Kim Kardashian who gave Lawrence her email. 

She also clarified that at the time of Lawrence’s polygraph test, she was “literally at home, breastfeeding” and felt attacked. Kardashian added that it was also the time when a new season of her family reality show had come up. She was going through a “really sensitive week” and felt like everyone was “ganging up” on her.

According to Variety, Lawrence also addressed her comments on Kardashian during an appearance on the Good Hang podcast. She talked to host Amy Poehler about her previous comments on Kardashian. 

The Silver Linings Playbook star joked that she must follow her industry colleagues when it comes to promoting her movies. She said, “I think when I do press I should do half of what normal people do.” The actress then reflected on her remark and said, “Because I see my quotes and they are insane. Like, ‘Jennifer Lawrence Calls Kourtney Kardashian Annoying.’ It’s too [much]… it carries!”
