It sits on 3.5 acres on the edge of Lake Erie, a few miles from downtown Cleveland and close to a private airport.
The property papers revealed that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end closed the deal on a 21,000-square-foot mansion in March. Spread across 3.5 acres, the property is located in Bratenahl, a village in Ohio. It is reportedly only a few miles away from Cleveland Heights, where Kelce grew up.
The news outlet further reported that the previous owner bought the property for $1.95 million in 2023. However, it later underwent an extensive renovation, which boosted its price. Kelce’s new mansion was listed for $6.99 million in 2024 but dropped to $5.99 million recently.
The mansion reportedly has some lavish details, including the fact that it sits on the edge of Lake Erie. It features eight bedrooms, a game room, a home theater, and 11 bathrooms. A heated pool, a billiards room, and a wine cellar with a tasting room make the mansion cozier. Kelce’s latest purchase came more than two years after he desperately bought his Kansas City mansion for $6 million for privacy.
Although the NFL star has already bought his new home, it is unclear how much time he and his wife would spend there. Meanwhile, Kelce and Swift’s Ohio neighbors have spoken up and are excited for the couple to join them. According to Page Six, a source from the Cleveland suburb said that the people in the neighborhood cannot wait for the celebrity couple to visit their new home.
The insider ensured that the couple will get all the privacy they need while living in the lakefront mansion. “LeBron James lived here in his prime, and nobody bothered. It’s the Cleveland charm,” the insider asserted. They then referred to a nearby yacht club and said, “Everybody would love their grandkids to spot her at Shoreby Club.”
People of the village are reportedly aware of the couple’s multiple properties. While they are excited for them to visit, they want to know whether they will ever spend any time there. Swift’s potential neighbors were also wondering whether she would throw some of her famous parties in her new home and invite her A-list friends.
