Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo have shared the happy news that they welcomed their first child together.

The NFL star and former Miss Universe took to Instagram to announce the birth of their daughter, Colette Annalise McCaffrey. Their joint Instagram post was accompanied by a carousel of black-and-white photos from their newborn’s arm to McCafferey by his wife’s side in the delivery room.

In a separate post, the model wrote: “The scariest and most rewarding of all experiences. As soon as he came into the room, I felt most at peace.”

Congrats have been pouring in for the couple, as many fans know that this hasn’t been an easy pregnancy for Culpo, who has been open about her battle with endometriosis.

After announcing they were expecting in March 2025, Culpo revealed that she was experiencing a number of health problems. In an emotional video posted to TikTok at the time, she told her followers that she was on bed rest for weeks and had pneumonia, purging, and a subchorionic hematoma that caused “a lot of bleeding” in her uterus.

Culpo explained: “I had pneumonia and I was sick also for two weeks. All in all, I’ve truly been on bed rest for four weeks … Towards the end of two weeks of being really sick, I got a subchorionic hematoma, which is basically a blood clot in my uterus and I was bleeding everywhere. So at this point, I was so exhausted, like two weeks of just not being able to move and then all of a sudden just purging. It was a lot. It was heavy.”

However, the Clawfoot actress acknowledged then that her pregnancy was not jeopardized and her baby was just fine saying: “I went to the doctor and it was really exciting to see that there was still a heartbeat.”
