Can these couples overcome infidelity and find their happily ever after? 

OWN’s newest unscripted offering is a spinoff of its hit love and relationship series, Put a Ring On It. Put a Ring on It: Cheathab follows a trio of long-term couples whose relationships have been rocked by infidelity. These troubled pairs will move into the Miami-based “Cheathab House” to confront the trust issues, jealousy, and unresolved wounds threatening their futures.

With support from master relationship coach Dr. Stacii Jae Johnson, each couple will take the ultimate relationship test by dating other people, including former flings and past love interests who have jeopardized their relationships. Old feelings will resurface and new temptations emerge as each couple confronts painful truths, ultimately deciding whether they can rebuild trust and commit to a future together. 

By the end of the experiment, all three couples face a life-changing choice: Will they finally “put a ring on it” and build a life together or walk away for good?

So, who are the couples who are taking a desperate step to save their relationship? 

Dominique and Travis had instant chemistry that turned into a passionate long-distance romance built on deep connection and late-night talks. Then, Travis grew distant, eventually admitting to a brief Vegas fling. Dominique’s trust was shattered, and their relationship has never recovered. Dominique wants commitment and security, while Travis craves faith and freedom from suspicion. Unless they move forward from Travis’ indiscretion, they risk losing it all. 

Mia and Jarron connected on Facebook in 2022, bonding quickly over their shared faith. Despite the physical distance between them – one lived in Los Angeles while the other was in Fort Lauderdale – they developed a strong connection. But everything changed when Mia discovered that Jarron had been sleeping with other women. She then sought comfort from one of his friends, creating an even deeper rift. Now, they must both confront their past mistakes if they hope to rebuild trust, take accountability, and make a lasting plan for their future. 

Mi-Mi and Joshua met through a friend and quickly fell in love. The physician assistant and boutique owner shared a fun, adventurous bond with her forklift driver and aspiring photographer boyfriend. But things got difficult after Joshua cheated with his ex, and Mi-Mi emotionally reconnected with hers. Joshua’s asked Mi-Mi to marry him twice, but she’s refusing to say yes until they’re on more solid ground. Now, their future hangs in the balance as they confront secrets that could lead to a lasting reconciliation – or a permanent breakup. 

Put a Ring on It: Cheathab premieres Friday, July 31 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on OWN before moving to its regular timeslot of Fridays at 8pm ET/PT beginning August 14.
