Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson star in the new movie The Naked Gun and recently attended the London premiere together, which left fans buzzing about how comfortable they appeared with each other on the red carpet.

Now, an expert is sharing what stood out about the duo and what they showed about their relationship through their body language.

Darren Stanton is a body language and behavioral expert with a degree in psychology. He previously worked as a police officer and used his expertise to uncover the truth when interviewing hundreds of suspects. He later moved into media and TV as a consultant and has been dubbed the “Human Lie Detector.” 

Now, he’s revealing what he says was clear from seeing Anderson and Neeson at the premiere together on July 22.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, Stanton told Showbiz Cheat Sheet: “Liam is generally a very quiet and unassuming man. I’ve analyzed him a lot in the past as an individual, and he’s not someone who is overly passionate in front of the cameras. However, looking at the pictures of him and Pamela, you can tell he feels comfortable in her presence.

“There’s great eye contact between them, which is a key sign that there’s a sense of comfort with each other. They really seem to get on. There is interpersonal attraction, great eye contact, and they appear comfortable in each other’s skin. Liam is a private person, but it’s clear that he’s found a great friendship with Pamela — he’s laughing and joking with her, which all seems really genuine.”

Stanton added, “Pamela, on the other hand, looks just as comfortable. She’s really chilled out. At one point, she turned towards Liam and leaned into him; it took a few seconds but Liam went on to reciprocate her actions. There’s quite a lot of matching and mirroring between them, and this shows that a strong rapport is there. Pamela’s facial expressions were also a key indicator — she had a very genuine, big, broad smile. Her eyes and whole face were also engaged, with crow’s feet and laugh lines at the sides of her head.

“Overall, the co-stars both appear extremely comfortable and genuinely happy in each other’s company — you can really sense they’ve formed a strong bond.”

The Taken actor married Natasha Richardson in 1994. In 2009, she died after hitting her head while taking skiing lessons at a resort in Mont Tremblant, Canada.

As for Anderson has been married five times, including twice to the same man.

She wed Tommy Lee in 1995 and they divorced in 1998. The Baywatch actress and Kid Rock tied the knot in 2006, but things were over in a matter of months. Anderson then married Rick Salomon in 2007. They separated in 2008, then decided to give marriage another shot in 2014. Things didn’t work out though and they broke up for good in 2015. Anderson and Dan Hayhurst said “I do” in 2020, but divorced after two years.
