Prince Harry and Meghan Now Fearful That a Palace ‘Troublemaker’ Could Expose Their Secrets
No one expected after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their roles as working royals that they would air out the family’s secrets for the entire world to digest.
But that’s exactly what happened as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex seemed to be just about everywhere, selling the royals’ dirty laundry to the highest bidder. They did so in their televised sit-down with Oprah Winfrey, Prince Harry’s memoir Spare, the couple’s Harry & Meghan Netflix docuseries, podcasts, and other interviews. But what the pair likely didn’t expect was anyone selling their secrets.

The royal family’s motto is to “never complain, never explain,” and while Queen Elizabeth II did issue her brief “recollections may vary” response, the family has taken Meghan and Harry’s other verbal jabs on the chin. Now though, one of the late queen‘s most trusted and dedicated longtime aides reportedly has a chance to dish it to Harry and Meghan with her story.
According to Radar Online, the Sussexes are worried about a proposed film project featuring Queen Elizabeth’s long-time dresser, Angela Kelly.
The project could reportedly focus on not just Kelly’s relationship with the late monarch, but also the headline-making spat with Harry and Meghan over which tiara the duchess could wear the day she married the prince in 2018. In Spare, the duke touched on that tiara incident, describing Kelly as an obstructive force to Meghan wearing a diamond heirloom.
He wrote: “I considered going to Granny, but that would probably mean sparking an all-out confrontation, and I wasn’t quite sure with whom Granny would side. Also, to my mind, Angela was a troublemaker, and I didn’t need her as an enemy.”

A source told Radar that the prince and his wife are wary about Kelly “finally getting the opportunity to tell her side of the story. The pair of them are now in fear she will expose secrets of their time behind palace doors.
“Angela wasn’t some distant member of the royal household who occasionally crossed paths with the family. She was one of the Queen’s closest and most trusted confidantes … What’s potentially so damaging for the Sussexes is that Angela may remember certain events very differently from the way Harry has described them.”
The source added, “If she becomes actively involved in this production, there’s every possibility that audiences could be presented with an entirely different perspective on some of the most controversial moments surrounding their time in the royal family. That prospect alone is enough to make them deeply uncomfortable.”
