Prince William Only Has 1 Focus Now and it Isn’t Harry or Meghan
Ever since it was announced that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were moving back to England for an “extended period,” there’s been a ton of speculation about what Harry’s estranged brother, Prince William, thinks about the move. The siblings’ last public appearance together was in 2022 during a walkabout following Queen Elizabeth II’s death, and they haven’t spoken in years.
While the Sussexes were living 6,000 miles away in the U.S., friends of the Prince of Wales told the Daily Beast that the heir to the throne “feels utterly betrayed … he hates Harry for what he has done to the family in the books and interviews … it’s no secret he would prefer it if Harry never stepped foot in England again.”
But now, the Duke of Sussex is back in England and some close to William are sharing how he’s feeling about that.
Phil Dampier, author of Royally Suited: Harry and Meghan in their own words, told the Daily Mail, “William and Harry put aside their differences for the unveiling of the statue of their mother Princess Diana [five years ago], but things are much worse now. I think William would find it very hard to meet Harry, even to honor Diana’s memory.
“Next year marks the 30th anniversary of her death, so that would be an obvious time for them to try and heal their rift and at least be seen together, but I don’t think William’s heart is in it. William will never forgive Harry, in my opinion, not just for leaving the royal family, but for the dirt he dished out in his book Spare, the Netflix show, and the Oprah Winfrey interview.”
Dampier added that William’s pals insist that he will not be concerning himself with Harry and Meghan despite their return, saying, “Friends tell me that, as far as he is concerned, Harry is the past, and he is only concerned about the future for his wife Catherine and their children George, Charlotte and Louis.”
As for why the Sussexes are actually returning, no specific reason has been given but a celebrity psychic believes it has to do with money.
Inbaal Honigman is a celebrity psychic astrologer who has been reading Tarot since the ’90s. She has appeared in the media for more than 20 years, giving her predictions for Big Brother’s Little Brother, Elle Magazine, and talkSPORT radio, to name a few. In 2023, she accurately predicted King Charles would develop an “illness” that would “become public knowledge via an official announcement” in 2024.
Speaking on behalf of Casino.ca, Honigman told Showbiz Cheat Sheet, “Harry isn’t returning out of a sense of duty or sentimentality. He views this as a career move and a pragmatic change for his family, and he’s simply hoping for the best. Harry feels as though their American dream failed to materialize and that, overall, the experiment was unsuccessful. It suggests he is motivated by the financial potential of his life in the U.K.
“Harry is negotiating a career within and around his royal connections, and a new working arrangement will be forged: working under the monarch, but not as an inherent part of the royal family. The king’s younger son is practical and pragmatic … He will have a lucrative, secure, and confidential contract in place that will limit his options outside of that agreement. His responsibilities and commitments will be laid out explicitly and irrevocably, but he won’t become a ‘working royal’ again. Instead, he’ll be a ‘relative working for the Crown.’”
