Princess Kate and Princess Eugenie Were so Different in Their School Days With One Getting Caught up in ‘Naked’ Parties
The Princess of Wales’ (formerly known as Kate Middleton) relationship with her husband’s cousin, Princess Eugenie, has always been a bit of a mystery. And now people are wondering just how the ladies feel about each other after Prince William and Kate reportedly pushed for a review into whether or not Eugenie and her sister, Princess Beatrice, should be allowed to stay in their royal London residences amid their parents’ Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
Express reported that Kate has been “wary” of Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice ever since they “snubbed” her beloved sister, Pippa, at a fashion show back in 2008. But that past incident isn’t the only reason the women don’t have the greatest relationship.
Although Kate and Eugenie share some similarities and experiences, including attending the same Marlborough College co-educational boarding school in Wiltshire, England, they couldn’t be more different as Eugenie was a party girl in school while Kate was more focused on her athletics and getting good grades.
Eugenie’s naked antics are something Kate would have never been a part of
According to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, Kate and Eugenie do not “have much in common.” And as the Daily Mail noted, “While Kate excelled at sports and blossomed from a shy 14-year-old into a confident young adult during her time at the boarding school, Eugenie was at the center of a royally embarrassing incident.
“Eugenie was severely reprimanded after she was caught frolicking naked in the grounds at the plush, $82,000-per-year boarding school following a night of end-of-term drinking in 2008, when she was 18. It was reported at the time that a senior member of staff was awoken by shrieks on the college lawns, who went outside to find the royal and a dozen other students dancing naked in the moonlight.”
A staff member told the Sun: “The girls had been drinking, possibly in a local pub, and decided to let their hair down. For some reason, they stripped off and started prancing about. It was light-hearted and they were sort of frolicking like nymphs.”
The other royal family member who was caught partying naked
One member of the royal family with whom Princess Eugenie was always very close to is Prince Harry, who has his own past naked incident.
As some may recall, back in 2012, the future Duke of Sussex was partying with some friends in Las Vegas and stripped of all his clothes during a billiards game in his VIP suite.
TMZ obtained and published photos of the nude prince. One picture shows him covering himself as much as he can with his hands, while another shows him hugging an unidentified female who was also naked.
Harry did not issue a formal apology for the incident as he highlighted the fact that he was in a private space. However, the prince did acknowledge that he let his family down with his actions that night.
