Summer is winding down, but the stars are still alive.

With Leo season in full swing starting July 23, the weeks ahead are full of celestial events that could lead to rekindled romances and deepening relationships, while other movements could help people get clarity about what’s truly in their hearts, said spiritualist and advisor Deborah Graham, who hosts The Psychic Connection with Deborah Graham podcast.

Some days in the coming month are particularly favorable for those who are looking to explore new relationships or deepen existing one, the star of TLC’s The Psychic Matchmaker shared with Showbiz Cheat Sheet. Keep note of these dates, Graham advised:

July 23: Mercury moves direct on this date, after weeks of retrograde confusion. That brings “clearer communication and fewer mixed signals,” Graham said. “If someone has been waiting to have an important conversation, define the relationship, or make plans, this is a natural hook.”

August 6-7: Venus enters Libra on these dates. Libra is one of the the signs Venus rules, and this shift kicks off one of the season’s most romantic periods, which favors “partnership and connection,” Graham explained. As a result, it’s “an ideal time for singles to meet someone new or for couples to enjoy quality time together. If you’ve been enjoying a summer fling, this transit may have you wondering whether it could become something more.”

August 12: Mid-month, the New Moon is in Leo. This sign brings “bold, expressive, and heart-centered” energy, while “new moons are traditionally linked to new beginnings,” Graham noted. All that combines to make “this a strong date for putting yourself out there, updating your dating profile, asking someone out, or starting a new chapter in love.”

August 21: This date marks the beginning of Virgo season, followed by Mercury’s move into Virgo on August 24. This is a welcome shift bringing “practically and clarity” following “the emotional Cancer and dramatic Leo energy of early summer,” Graham shared. As a carefree summer winds down, more practical mindsets take over. That means it’s an opportune time to consider the future of a relationship, discuss what comes next, or determine whether a summer fling might grow into something more. “Conversations that may have felt too serious earlier in the season become easier to navigate now,” she added.

August 28: The Full Moon is in Pisces on August 28, with a significant lunar eclipse occurring around the same date. With summer fading away, this emotionally charged time could bring big relationship revelations.

“Feelings that have been simmering beneath the surface can no longer be ignored,” Graham said. “For some, it may confirm that a summer romance has real staying power; for others, it may reveal that what felt magical in the moment isn’t meant to continue into the fall. Either way, this eclipse encourages honesty, emotional clarity, and trusting your intuition.”
