R. Kelly Targeted for Death Over Plans to Expose Bureau of Prisons and Department of Justice, Attorney Claims
In a chilling revelation, R. Kelly’s legal team has filed an emergency motion alleging that three Bureau of Prisons officials orchestrated a plot to have the disgraced R&B singer murdered while incarcerated. The motion includes a declaration from Mikeal Glenn Stine, a self-identified former high-ranking member of the Aryan Brotherhood, who claims prison officials recruited him to carry out the assassination. Stine says the murder would be in exchange for a chance to escape custody due to his terminal cancer diagnosis. Stine asserts that he ultimately refused the assignment and disclosed the plot to Kelly. So, why would the Bureau of Prisons want R. Kelly killed? Here’s what his attorney explained.
R. Kelly’s attorney explained the reason why the former R&B star was targeted for murder
In a shocking twist, convicted felon Mikeal Glenn Stine has come forward with explosive claims. Stine says prison officials hired him to assassinate R. Kelly, real name Robert Kelly, behind bars. According to an affidavit filed by Kelly’s legal team, Stine alleged that three Bureau of Prisons officers approached him with a chilling proposition: kill the embattled singer in exchange for help escaping incarceration. Stine claims he refused the deal and instead warned Kelly directly, fearing the situation had spiraled dangerously out of control. These jaw-dropping allegations have prompted Kelly’s lawyers to demand his immediate release, citing serious concerns for his safety.
So, why would prison officials want R. Kelly dead? According to R. Kelly’s attorney, Beau Brindley, the former R&B star has “inflammatory and damaging facts” about the Bureau of Prisons and the Department of Justice.
“The reason is that Mr. Kelly was about to expose some facts that would be extremely inflammatory and damaging to the Bureau of Prisons and the Department of Justice,” Brindley said on NewsNation’s Banfield. “And because of that, the Bureau of Prisons instructed Mikeal Glenn Stine to go to Butner and execute R. Kelly.”
Brindley noted that he has hard evidence of prison officials aiming to perform criminal activity. He’s now seeking “every opportunity” to ensure R. Kelly’s safety and freedom.
“Absolutely, we’re going to seek every opportunity to, one, make sure that Robert Kelly doesn’t get killed, and No. 2, to see that he is freed based on what we do believe to be and will prove to be a corrupt prosecution, the kind of which President Trump has promised to eradicate,” Brindley continued.
