In April 2026, Rihanna introduced her daughter, Rocki Irish, to the world in striking fashion. The pair was styled head-to-toe in Dior for the cover of W Magazine.

Rihanna wore a dramatic black belted Haute Couture coat accented by a feathered neckline. She paired the coat with sheer tights, an amethyst-toned hat, and statement Cartier jewelry. To make the look pop even more, Rihanna’s makeup included purple and orange eyeshadows that appeared to fade down into a blush on her cheeks.

Cradled in her arms, Rocki made an unforgettable debut in a custom-designed Dior Haute Couture diaper, which is reportedly a first for the fashion house. Rocki also wore a white headpiece adorned with silk rosettes.

Designer Jonathan Anderson created Rocki’s diaper and headpiece. “The haute couture diaper is definitely a first for Dior,” he told W Magazine. “When Rihanna asks for something, she is already ahead of what is happening. She is thinking outside the box. When she has an idea, I’m always trusting in the process. I trust her implicitly on anything she feels that is right to do.”

In February 2023, Rihanna reflected on how she believes kids’ clothing is “boring.” She likes to step outside of the box for both herself and her children.

“I like to dress him in things that don’t look like baby clothes,” she told British Vogue about her son, RZA. “I like to push it. I put him in floral stuff. I put him in hot pink. I love that. I think that fluidity in fashion is best. I always shop in the men’s department, you know.”

“When you come up with something in your head, half the time it is not available because kids’ clothes are so … they’re sooo boring,” she continued. “I’m like, ‘This is what y’all been doing to these people’s kids all along?'”
