‘Southern Charm’: Molly O’Connell Steps Into Central Drama for the 1st Time After Being a Comedic-Relief Fan Favorite
Molly O’Connell has largely stayed away from the drama during her time on Southern Charm. While she has clashed with her co-star, Salley Carson, in the past, she has generally stayed away from major fights. In the trailer for the upcoming season of the Bravo series, though, O’Connell showed a new side of herself.
Molly O’Connell is at the center of the drama on this season of ‘Southern Charm’
O’Connell joined Southern Charm in season 10. During her tenure on the show, she had a brief flirtation with Shep Rose and briefly clashed with Carson and Venita Aspen. For the most part, though, her storylines focused on her singing career and her baritone tuba. O’Connell herself has admitted that this season will be different.
“Safe to say I dipped my toes into the drama this season,” she wrote on Instagram.
In the trailer, Austen Kroll admitted that O’Connell went home with him. It’s possible that this caused a major blowup with Carson, who pursued Kroll during season 11.
Footage shows O’Connell chasing Carson around a house while shouting, “You dumb f***ing w****!” As Carson hides under a bed, O’Connell beats her hand on the locked door. This is by far the most drama that Southern Charm viewers have ever seen from O’Connell.
Season 12 of Southern Charm premieres on Bravo on Thursday, November 12, at 9:00 p.m. ET.
