Netflix’s newest must-watch show is a small-town romance from the creator of hit series Virgin River.
Sullivan’s Crossing, which is based on a series of books by Virgin River writer Robyn Carr, follows Maggie Sullivan (Morgan Kohan) a surgeon who returns to her hometown after a professional crisis. There, she reconnects with her father, Harry “Sully” Sullivan (Scott Patterson) and gets to know a handsome local named Cal (Chad Michael Murray). The show is new to Netflix, with two seasons dropping on the streamer on July 8. But it’s not new to TV. It originally aired on The CW. And there’s good news for Netflix subscribers who have blown through the first two season and are eager to see what’s next for Maggie and Cal. Not only has Sullivan’s Crossing been renewed for a third season, but those episodes are already airing on The CW.
‘Sullivan’s Crossing’ Season 3 is airing on The CW
Sullivan’s Crossing premiered in 2023 on CTV in Canada and later that year on The CW. Season 2 aired in 2024, and season 3 premiered in 2025.
New episodes of Sullivan’s Crossing Season 3 currently air Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW. Episodes stream the next day for free on The CW app or The CW website. Season 3 will have 10 episodes in total. The first nine episodes are available to stream on demand now. The season finale airs July 16.

Will there be a ‘Sullivan’s Crossing’ Season 4?
Yes! CTV has already confirmed that it has renewed Sullivan’s Crossing for a fourth season. While a Canadian premiere date has not been announced, it will likely air sometime in 2026. The CW hasn’t said when (or if) those episodes will air in the U.S. But based on the show’s recent success, the odds seem good that The CW will pick up the fourth season.
In an interview with Collider, Sullivan’s Crossing showrunner Roma Roth teased a major moment in the upcoming season 3 finale that will have a big impact on what’s to come in season 4.
“There’s never a dull moment at Sullivan’s Crossing,” she said. “A romance drama series needs to have push and pull between your characters… we’re going to have a pretty big shoe drop at the end of the season that we’ll get to see play out in Season 4.”
