Taylor Frankie Paul is still busy battling it out with her baby daddies over custody. Her cases with Tate Paul and Dakota Mortensen just took another turn. Reports suggest the reality TV star’s parenting time has been slashed to just eight hours a week, and her drug test results apparently play a significant role. Let’s take a look at what has been happening.

Taylor Frankie Paul’s parenting time cut back

Taylor Frankie Paul and Tate Paul’s recent custody war has been playing out very publicly, despite the sensitive nature of the proceedings. Sources have now shared another unexpected and concerning turn. According to a source who spoke to TMZ, Taylor Frankie Paul’s parenting time has been cut back after she failed several court-ordered drug screenings over the last 60 days. The failed screenings have, allegedly, forced a judge’s hand, cutting her total parenting time down to just eight hours a week, split into two four-hour visits.

The reduced arrangement reportedly covers all three of her children, including the two-year-old son she shares with Mortensen. The specific substances involved in the failed tests haven’t been made public. A gag order remains in place in the case.

The custody drama appeared to be moving in a good direction just months ago

Taylor Frankie Paul’s custody situation didn’t always look so bleak. In fact, earlier this summer, she was granted more time with Ever Mortensen after being largely blocked from his life, and Tate Paul offered her significantly more parenting time with their children, Indy and Ocean. She ultimately declined that offer.

In June, Taylor Frankie Paul notched a win when the supervised-visitation requirement for Ever was lifted. She was granted a regular weekday visit with the toddler, plus alternating weekend custody. Dakota Mortensen remains Ever’s custodial parent. The former flames must stay away from each other, but the custody situation semed to be going well enough.

In July, things seemed to be going well enough for Tate Paul to come back to the table with an offer of more parenting time, too. According to Us Weekly, Tate offered Taylor 35% parenting time with Indy and Ocean, structured around alternating weekends and a midweek overnight. He suggestsed supervision be handled by Taylor’s sister. Taylor turned down the offer, though her reasoning remains unknown. The refusal seemed to have changed the dynamic. In August, Tate petitioned the court to unseal Paul’s drug test results.

The custody case remains ongoing, with further hearings expected. None of the parties involved has issued a statement regarding Taylor Frankie Paul’s allegedly failed drug tests or any changes to their custody agreements.
