Taylor Swift is reportedly getting married this summer, but there is very little information about what she and Travis Kelce are planning. Swift has remained tight-lipped about her plans and has reportedly only mentioned the details to a small handful of people. Still, a rumor surfaced that they were planning to tie the knot at Madison Square Garden. Some sources believe that she intentionally told this to someone in order to find out who was leaking information.

Taylor Swift reportedly wanted to find a leak in wedding rumors

In the months since Swift and Kelce announced their engagement, multiple rumors about the wedding have surfaced.

“I decided to put my journalist hat on and do a little digging, and it seems like there are several different plans for her wedding,” television personality Andrea Bain said on The Social CTV.

Bain said she learned that Swift told a person that she was getting married at Madison Square Garden in order to see if they were leaking information.

“They think that she told one particular person a similar story to see if they would leak the story,” she said. “So this Madison Square Garden story is a way for her to find out who in her camp is the leak.”

Bain believes that this could get that person booted from the guest list.

“We don’t know if she’s getting married at Madison Square Garden, but we know one thing: someone is off the list.”

Taylor Swift’s friends said this wedding rumor didn’t sound accurate

Sources close to Swift also reportedly doubt that the pop star is planning a wedding at Madison Square Garden.

“This doesn’t sound like Taylor,” one source said, per Reality TV. “It sounds like something the Kardashians would do.”

While Swift is used to performing at massive venues, sources doubted that she would get married at one.

“Taylor has always used her personal life in her work,” another source said. “But that’s very different from getting married at one of the most famous venues in the world.”

It felt more like a tour than a romantic event.

“A wedding at Madison Square Garden feels like a production,” the source said. “Not a wedding.”

Their wedding could reportedly be astonishingly expensive

If Swift and Kelce do decide to tie the knot at Madison Square Garden, they will have to pay a significant amount for it. A source told TMZ that it costs $1 million to rent for a night. Swift and Kelce reportedly want to rent it for at least three nights for their wedding celebrations.
