Rhode Island Senator Gave Insight Into Taylor Swift’s Secret Wedding Location
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are reportedly having their wedding ceremony this summer. Beyond that, however, there is very little information about the wedding that is available. Because of her level of fame, Swift has to remain secretive about their plans. A Rhode Island senator gave a little bit of insight into the potential location, though.
A Rhode Island Senator shared what he knew about Taylor Swift’s wedding
While Swift has not announced where she is holding her wedding, fans have speculated that she will host it at her sprawling Rhode Island estate. She bought the home for $17 million in 2013. The home overlooks 700 feet of private beachfront and has a large patio and pool.
It would be a beautiful venue for a wedding, but Rhode Island Senator Sheldon Whitehouse said he doubts that Swift and Kelce will tie the knot in the state.
“I don’t know about that. I think that she gave Rhode Island a pass,” he told TMZ. “But I hope so, I’d love to have her in Rhode Island.”
Taylor Swift is remaining tight-lipped about her wedding details
This vague information about the venue is among the only available. The couple is reportedly taking extensive measures to keep information a secret.
“Each save-the-date has the guests’ names written in the background, so if any photos were to leak, they would know who it’s coming from,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.
It’s rumored that even the guests don’t know where the wedding is taking place. They will receive information about the venue at the last minute. They are also not allowed to have their phones at the ceremony and must sign NDAs, even if they choose not to attend.
She reportedly has cut her future father-in-law out of the planning
Swift and Kelce are reportedly being so cautious with the details about their wedding that they’ve cut out some family members from the planning process. They are reportedly being particularly cautious about giving Kelce’s father, Ed, any information.
“He’s sort of like a loose cannon,” a source told The Daily Mail. “Nobody knows what he’s going to say so it’s kind of a controversial situation.”
The source added that Ed “already gave out a lot of information about the engagement,” and they want to avoid any leaks about the wedding. At this point, it seems likely that people won’t know about the wedding until after it has occurred.
