Taylor Swift’s Wedding Dress Will Feature ‘Old Hollywood’ Style

Taylor Swift‘s wedding day has reportedly arrived. And while some are camped outside of Madison Square Garden hoping to get a glimpse of the bride on her big day, an expert is sharing what type of dress they expect the pop star to wear when she and Travis Kelce say “I do.”

Lauren Bulla is a fashion journalist who has been featured in The Independent, New Wave Magazine, and several other publications. She is also the Fashion Editor of Groupie Magazine, where she provides in-depth, on-the-ground coverage of New York, Paris, London, Berlin, and Copenhagen fashion weeks.

Speaking on behalf of Covers, Bulla told Showbiz Cheat Sheet, “I imagine she will go for something a bit dramatic but not over the top — it is her big day, after all. I can see it being very ‘Old Hollywood’ in style, giving her a gorgeous silhouette, with lace detailing and perhaps some embroidery.”

The expert added, “I can picture a more pared-back, close-fitting bodice with an off-the-shoulder neckline and a long, sweeping train. Overall, it will likely feel quite minimalistic. I don’t think we’ll see anything too dramatic in terms of glitter or rhinestones.

“I think the dress itself will be quite conservative in style, with a classic, fairytale-esque, feminine feel. I can imagine an A-line silhouette with an off-the-shoulder neckline and a full skirt — something dramatic in shape, but still refined and understated.”
