Vicki Gunvalson’s comments about her co-star Heather Dubrow’s wealth are way out of line, Heather’s husband Terry Dubrow says.

Vicki Gunvalson questions where Heather and Terry Dubrow got their money

In the season 20 premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Heather hosted a party for her fellow Housewives. At the event, Vicki – who returned to the show this season after a long absence – confronted Heather about being “mean” to her behind her back.

Heather quickly fired back, saying that Vicki was actually the one who was out of line.

“I never said anything mean. By the way, you’re the one that’s saying mean things about me… [that] Terry and I inherited all of our money,” she said.

“I don’t know where you got your money,” Vicki replied, adding that the couple might have received an inheritance from Terry’s brother Kevin Dubrow, the vocalist for ‘80s heavy metal band Quiet Riot.

“[Kevin’s] mother’s alive,” an obviously annoyed Heather replied. “If he had any money, it would be with her.”

Heather went on to tell Vicki that she and her husband earned everything they have. (Terry is a successful plastic surgeon whose starred in several reality shows, most notably Botched.) But in an interview with a producer, Vicki expressed skepticism about that story, saying that doctors don’t live in $20 million houses.

Vicki’s comments hit a nerve with Terry.

“It pissed me off,” he said during a recent appearance on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea

Kevin Dubrow died in 2007 of an accidental cocaine overdose, and Terry was clearly insulted by Vicki’s insinuation that he had somehow profited off the tragedy.

“Everything I did, I have made on my own, except for what Heather has contributed, which has been major,” he said. “So, to say that I inherited any amount of money from my brother — first of all, factually, it’s just totally incorrect.”

Terry also said that Vicki’s comments were “insensitive” and “a mean thing to do to [Kevin’s] memory.” He added that any money from his brother’s estate — which likely was not substantial — would have gone to their mother.

“I don’t know why she wanted to pick on our success,” Terry continued. “Maybe that says something about the way she feels about her own level of success, but at the end of the day, it’s just not true.”

The Bridalplasty star added that his offer to pay Gunvalson $100,000 if she was able to prove her claims about the source of his wealth still stands.

“It’s amazing how she’s willing to go on everybody’s podcast and do every interview and make it about that. But when it comes time to put her money where her mouth is, nothing,” he said.

“If you want to say that, fine. Say it. But bet me,” he continued. “Until you want to bet me $100,000 that I didn’t inherit a dime from my brother, shut up, Vicki. Leave it alone. You’re just wrong.”
