Beyoncé is gearing up to release Act III after the critically acclaimed Renaissance and Cowboy Carter. People have started speculating that the unnamed Act III will come out soon. While Beyoncé’s publicist has confirmed that this is not true, people are still looking for information about the album. Her mother, Tina Knowles, said that even she can’t help with that. Her daughter doesn’t trust her with information about the album.

Tina Knowles said Beyoncé doesn’t trust her with information about ‘Act III’

In a recent appearance on Sherri, Knowles received a question about her daughter’s upcoming album

“If I told you, I’d have to kill you,” she responded.

She then admitted that she doesn’t know all that much about the album. Beyoncé doesn’t trust her with the information.

“But I really don’t know,” she said. “Honestly, I know people think I know, but I really don’t know because, you know, I got a big mouth … So she doesn’t tell me anything until the last minute.”

Tina Knowles opened up about raising her daughters

Both Beyoncé and her sister Solange are singers. Knowles said she also wanted a career in music when she was growing up.

“I wanted to be a singer, but you know, this little town was about that big and there were no singers there and that’s what my mom said,” she told CBS News. “My mom, as, you know, as much as I loved her and she wanted the best for me, she would’ve done anything for me to be a singer, she really didn’t have any hope.”

She said she did not want to put similar limitations on her own children.

“‘Cause my parents put limitations on me. Not because they wanted to, because they didn’t want me to be disappointed or hurt,” she said. “I told my girls that all the time, you could be whatever you wanna be. You could do whatever you wanna do and I’m gonna be right there to help make it happen.”

Beyoncé will reportedly not release ‘Act III’ this week

After Beyoncé posted new images to Instagram, fans began to wonder if she was dropping hints about an early May album release. Jenna Bush Hager said she heard from a reliable source that this was not true.

“In the middle of the night, a very reliable source in the wee hours, wee hours, called — now this is not ‘reliable source,’ friend of, this is a reliable source,” Bush Hager said, per People.

While she said her source wasn’t Beyoncé herself, she feels that she can trust this person.

“No, no, it’s not the most reliable, but it’s pretty reliable,” Bush Hager said. “And we don’t want you to be disappointed so brace yourself, sit down. We can report, Act III is not coming out next week. Sorry.”

She is not the only person to say this.

“This is unequivocally false!!” Beyoncé’s publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, wrote in a comment on X (formerly Twitter).

At this point, the theme of her album is not clear, but many of her fans have speculated that she could be putting out a rock album.
