The Tracker Season 3 finale airs Sunday, May 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.

The episode, titled “The Best Ones,” is the second half of the show’s two-part finale. Per the network’s synopsis, “Colter (Hartley) and Russell (Jensen Ackles) search for a victim of a nefarious research project.”

In the penultimate episode of Tracker Season 3, the once-estranged brothers dug even deeper their father’s mysterious death and his work involving covert government research. The investigation led them to a secret Idaho facility linked to the Chrono Stasis program, which experimented on children.

In the final moments of episode 21, which aired May 17, Colter and Russell infiltrated the facility, then split up. Colter managed to find Danny, who told him he didn’t want to be rescued. Instead, Danny tripped an alarm, alerting the guards, who then captured Russell.

How to stream ‘Tracker’

Will there be a ‘Tracker’ Season 4?

Yes! CBS has renewed Tracker for season 4. Filming for the new episodes will begin in June, Deadline reports. Production is moving from Vancouver to Los Angeles thanks to a tax incentive from the state of California. The move will allow the series, which involves Colter tracking down missing people in exchange for a reward, to explore new locations and scenery in the Southern California region.

“I’m proud of what we built in Vancouver. I’m also very excited we’re bringing Tracker to L.A.,” said Hartley, who is also an executive producer of the show. “I’m looking forward to continuing to tell these stories alongside the new, fresh places we’ll be heading to next. Most importantly, I want to thank the fans for showing up for us every step of the way. We couldn’t do this without you.”
