Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift both have yellow gold wedding bands, but they don’t exactly match. Despite this, a jewelry expert noted that the rings feel as though they belong together. He explained how they managed to achieve this, even if they may have purchased their rings from different jewelers.

Travis Kelce’s wedding ring is a good match with Taylor Swift’s

Kelce’s wedding band is yellow-gold with a continuous geometric, criss-crossed pattern running around the surface. This makes the band eye-catching to jewelry expert Nilesh Rakholia, the founder of Abelini

“What stands out to me is that Travis has taken a very traditional wedding ring and made the surface itself the feature,” he said. “From a distance it still reads as a classic yellow-gold band, but when you see it close up there is much more going on.”

Swift also has a yellow-gold band. It was on full display while she played piano at the Grammy Museum in August. Rakholia doesn’t think that the rings are a matching pair, but there are similarities between them.

“I wouldn’t assume the rings were made by the same jeweller, but there is a subtle connection between them,” he said. “Both use yellow gold and detailed metalwork rather than relying purely on the size or number of diamonds to create personality.”

He noted that this allows the couple to choose rings that suit them while still feeling connected.

“They don’t literally match, but they feel like they belong together,” he explained. “That is actually how more couples are approaching wedding jewellery now: carrying one design idea across both rings while still choosing something that suits each person individually.”

He thinks Travis Kelce’s wedding ring had a high price point

According to Rakholia, Kelce likely spent thousands on his ring.

“Based on what we can see, I’d expect a comparable ring to sit somewhere around £2,000 to £4,500 ($3,000 to $6,000), but I’d treat that as a broad estimate rather than a valuation of Travis’s actual ring.”

Still, he noted that various factors might impact the price. Because of this, it is difficult for Rakholia to estimate the cost.

“We don’t know whether it is 14-karat or 18-karat gold, its exact weight, who made it, or how that surface pattern was produced. All of those things could move the price considerably. If the detailing has been individually hand-cut, or the ring is bespoke from a major jewellery house, you could easily be looking above that. From photographs alone, though, I wouldn’t attach a more precise figure.”
