Travis Kelce and Kayla Nicole broke up back in 2022. But she was the last woman to publicly date the Kansas City Chiefs player before he and Taylor Swift got together, and the pop star’s fans never forgot that.
Therefore, over the last few years, Nicole has had to deal with Swifties dissecting every post she puts out. She’s received a lot of criticism and hate whether she’s referencing her ex and his fiancée in a cryptic post or not.
During a guest appearance on Angel Reese’s podcast Unapologetically Angel, Nicole explained that she has been cyberbullied continuously by some of Swift’s fans, saying, “I would be lying if I said that that level of hate and online chaos didn’t impact me, even to this day. You could go to my most recent posts and people would be debating why I am worthless and how I’ll never be a talented person.”
That hate intensified in November 2025, when Nicole shared a clip of her dressed up as Toni Braxton and dancing just like the R&B legend did for the 2000 hit song “He Wasn’t Man Enough.”
Swifties were not amused and started digging up some of Nicole’s past tweets. They uncovered posts from 2010 to 2014, which included racist and homophobic language. Nicole apologized and deleted her X account.
She still has her Instagram account though and decided to share how she rang in 2026.
With a clean slate, many followers noticed that Nicole looks like she got her confidence back with some stunning shots. She wowed in a black halter dress with a super high side slit and silver stiletto heels.
And instead of hate, followers filled the section with positive comments telling Nicole how beautiful she looked.
