For the first time, fans got to see Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding bands when the couple attended the wedding of NFL wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster on July 10. Now, fans are waiting patiently to see photos of Swift and Kelce’s looks from their big day.

It was revealed that the pop star wore a Dior gown with her rep telling People, “The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the bride and groom. This is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity.”

Now, as the world waits to see the first photos of the actual dress, one expert is weighing in on what the design the singer wore may have looked like.

Lauren Bulla is a fashion journalist who has been featured in The Independent, New Wave Magazine, and several other publications. She is also the Fashion Editor of Groupie Magazine, where she provides in-depth, on-the-ground coverage of New York, Paris, London, Berlin, and Copenhagen fashion weeks.

Speaking on behalf of OLBG, Bulla told Showbiz Cheat Sheet, “It’s no surprise that Taylor Swift ended up going with a Dior gown. She has been a long-time fan of the brand and the fashion house. With Jonathan Anderson being the creative director at the moment, it creates an interesting spin on the significance of the gown and working alongside Dior and him as the lead designer of the dress. It, of course, puts Irish designers on the global stage in a way that has already been a building trajectory.

“There are a lot of independent, up-and-coming Irish designers who are becoming relevant on the global stage and presenting at various fashion weeks. But to have such a huge, momentous moment that is significant to so many people, be the stage for a work of an irish designer is emblematic of their influence and impact.”

The expert added, “I believe the dress will still be a minimalist take, compared to many of Jonathan Anderson’s previous work. Its going to be a classic, white wedding gown but I would expect it to have a playful, romantic, and drama side that we see in her personal style both on and off stage. I expect a big gown, pared-back bodice and maybe some embroidery detail, all paired with a long train.

“I think it could also be off the shoulder based on what we have seen her in recently. Knowing what Johnathan Anderson is like, I would expect some clever detailing that might be hidden and only become clear when looking in detail.”

Celebrity psychic Inbaal Honigman also believes Swift’s gown blends elements of romance and the singer’s own personality, predicting, “Her dress will be a romantic and whimsical creation, full of personality and detail.
