Why Is Khloé Kardashian Feuding With the Teacher She Flirted With?
Late last year, Khloé Kardashian created quite the stir when she was spotted sliding into the Instagram comments of a handsome high school teacher. The flirtatious comment, left on a video of teacher Jacob Myers-Norys listing out his best attributes in hopes of finding his special someone, had fans wondering if Khloé was giving up her search for an NBA superstar in favor of a more down-to-earth romantic partner. Any fantasies of Khloé settling down with a non-celebrity have been dashed. She and Myers-Norys appear to be feuding. Here is what has gone down.
Khloé Kardashian slid into a school teacher’s comments
On Dec. 5, 2025, Jacob Myers-Norys posted a video listing some of his best qualities: Italian roots, a bachelor’s and master’s degree, a background as a college athlete, coaching experience, and a love of cooking. In the caption, he wrote that somewhere out there was “the woman who’s gonna ask how my school day was.”
Khloé decided to shoot her shot, commenting, “How was your day??” When he replied that his day was great and asked about hers, she told him hers was great too. Her best friend, Malika Haqq, even chimed in to hype her up. The exchange went viral. In a follow-up video, Myers-Norys said his entire town knew about it, his students wouldn’t stop teasing him, and his family group chat had been nonstop.
Myers-Norys reciprocated by asking Khloé to join him at his staff holiday party. He even jockeyed for an invite to Kris Jenner’s infamous holiday bash. He even slid into her DMs, but that is where the story seemingly ended. Khloé never responded publicly, and Myers-Norys returned to his normal teacher content.
Khloé brought the story back to life on ‘The Kardashians’
It has been more than 10 months since the exchange. Most people had forgotten about it, but this week during the Season 8 premiere of Hulu’s The Kardashians, Khloé brought the story back. Asked about the viral moment in a confessional, Khloé said she thought his post was wholesome and that her comment was completely innocent. She added that she never had any intention of marrying the “young man.”
But she also revealed that the attention got to be a lot. According to Khloé, the comment took off like wildfire, and Myers-Norys followed up with around 15 direct messages that she never answered. She then read several of them aloud on camera, including notes thanking her, acknowledging it was just a comment and asking once again to meet up.
She capped it off with a jab at the pronunciation of his social media handle, @yacobmyers. “Calm down, Yacob,” she joked. While Khloé thought she was having a good, wholesome time telling her story, viewers popped off, suggesting she was rude for telling the world about the teacher’s DMs and essentially roasting him to millions of people.
Jacob Myers-Norys has responded to the comments
While fans, followers, and critics dogpiled on Khloé Kardashian for being a bit insensitive to the schoolteacher, Jacob Myers-Norys isn’t taking the roasting too seriously. He posted a TikTok set to audio of a man laughing and deadpanning that he was devastated. In the caption, he insisted the disses his high school students hand out daily are far worse than Kardashian’s comments.
He is even using the moment as a potential highlight, noting he can now tell people he was on The Kardashians. Despite being perfectly fine with Khloé’s comments, there was one point he did feel the need to push back seriously on. While he insisted he did, in fact, shoot his shot, he claims Khloé’s claim that he sent 15 unanswered DMs to her was a bit of an exaggeration. He didn’t say how many he did send, though.
Khloé Kardashian remains single and, according to her own admission, celibate. It doesn’t look like Jacob Myers-Norys has found the woman of his dreams to ask about his school day yet, either, despite his near-miss with a Kardashian.
