Euphoria is an HBO Max original series following a group of teenagers as they deal with drug addiction, sexuality, anger, and more. The series is based on an Israeli series of the same name.

The series follows Rue, a teenager struggling to stay sober, and her best friend/girlfriend, Jules, a transgender girl trying to find her place in the world.

Euphoria’s central characters also include Nate, a high school jock with anger issues and struggles with his sexuality, and Chris, a football star having a tough time adjusting to college life.

Other characters include Cassie, whose sexual past is constantly used against her, and Maddy, who uses her sexuality to try to keep the peace with Nate. Kat, a body-conscious teenager, is also a central character, as she explores her sexuality.
