NCIS: New Orleans is a CBS primetime drama that made its debut in 2014 starring Scott Bakula, Vanessa Ferlito, Necar Zadegan, Rob Kerkovich, Daryl Mitchell, CCH Pounder, and Charles Michael Davis.

The series is a spinoff series to NCIS, which was introduced as a backdoor pilot of the popular series JAGNCIS: New Orleans ended in 2021 after seven seasons.

The series focused on a New Orleans-based team of agents who work for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. They collectively solve crimes in The Big Easy involving military personnel. This team is led by New Orleans native Special Agent Dwayne Pride, a.k.a. “King,” played by Bakula.

The NCIS franchise welcomed its third spinoff, NCIS: Hawai’i in 2021 starring Vanessa Lachey.
