Owens made his start in the entertainment industry as a model. He has appeared in several issues of GQ and ad campaigns for brands such as Gap, Polo, Izod, and Sperry. 

He also made a name for himself by starring in music videos for songs like Rihanna’s “California King Bed” and Nicki Minaj’s “Va Va Voom.”

In 2012, Owens launched his acting career in the popular soap opera Days of Our Lives. He was released from his contract with the show the following year, making his final appearance as Cameron Davis in November 2013.
