Ainsworth responded to Showbiz Cheat Sheet via Instagram when asked what viewers might see him in next.

What role does Sebastien Roberts play in ‘A Million Little Things’?

In A Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 19, Maddox (Ash Spencer) reveals to Rome how hard it is for their parents to understand that they have always felt uncomfortable as a girl. In episode 17, Maddox told Rome his truth in a video. After sharing their feelings with friends at school, Maddox asked Rome to speak to his parents. That’s when the teacher realizes that Maddox’s father, Clark Ainsworth (Sebastien Roberts), is the bully who put the “Whites Only” sign up on the water fountain. When Claire (Caroline Cave) and Clark sit down for the parent-teacher conference, Clark apologizes for being hard on Rome when they were young.

Clark and Claire admit that the “whole Maddox thing” is a lot to process. Rome uses he/him pronouns to refer to Maddox throughout the conference, and the parents are uncomfortable with that. Later, they ask the dean to terminate Rome immediately because they believe he is the root of the “Maddox problem.”
