Who plays Clark Ainsworth in ‘A Million Little Things’?
Sebastien Roberts plays Clark Ainsworth in the A Million Little Things Season 4 cast for episodes 19 and 20. Viewers might remember Roberts as Alex Turner in Northern Rescue, which is available for streaming on Netflix. He also appeared in the Lifetime Network TV series Mary Kills People (available on Hulu) from 2017 to 2018.
Fans might also recognize Roberts from the Lifetime TV movie, Murder on Maple Drive (2021). From 2012 to 2016, he starred in the Canadian soap opera O as Jean-Seb.
Ainsworth responded to Showbiz Cheat Sheet via Instagram when asked what viewers might see him in next.
“I can’t say anything about it yet but I can say I am currently shooting a Paramount + feature film co-starring with some big names. That’s all I can say,” the actor teased about his upcoming movie.
What role does Sebastien Roberts play in ‘A Million Little Things’?
In A Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 19, Maddox (Ash Spencer) reveals to Rome how hard it is for their parents to understand that they have always felt uncomfortable as a girl. In episode 17, Maddox told Rome his truth in a video. After sharing their feelings with friends at school, Maddox asked Rome to speak to his parents. That’s when the teacher realizes that Maddox’s father, Clark Ainsworth (Sebastien Roberts), is the bully who put the “Whites Only” sign up on the water fountain. When Claire (Caroline Cave) and Clark sit down for the parent-teacher conference, Clark apologizes for being hard on Rome when they were young.
Clark and Claire admit that the “whole Maddox thing” is a lot to process. Rome uses he/him pronouns to refer to Maddox throughout the conference, and the parents are uncomfortable with that. Later, they ask the dean to terminate Rome immediately because they believe he is the root of the “Maddox problem.”
Sebastien Roberts returns for the ‘A Million Little Things’ Season 4 finale
Clark returns in the A Million Little Things Season 4 Finale, Episode 20. The ABC press release indicates that Rome “makes a sacrifice for a student in distress.” Viewers know that the student is Maddox since he submits his letter of resignation in the episode 20 preview.
In Sebastien Roberts’ Instagram Story Highlight, he shared the news that he would be a part of the final two episodes of A Million Little Things Season 4.
“I can finally announce it,” Sebastien wrote. “Happy and grateful to have joined the show for the last two episodes of season 4. Make sure to tune in next Wednesday at 10 pm.”
Roberts also shared that he would love to continue the storyline with Maddox in the future.
“Of course I can say I LOVED this storyline,” Roberts told Showbiz Cheat Sheet. “Ash was amazing and it’s such a conversation that needs to be had. I believe this will help people see and understand what trans people go through. I loved it. Perhaps they’ll want to continue with the storyline…”
Maybe viewers might see Roberts and Ash Spencer in A Million Little Things Season 6!
