Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor has ended, and after much controversy, he’s now happily dating Susie Evans. Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey were then officially announced as the next leads for The Bachelorette. But what about Bachelor in Paradise? After the poor ratings last season, Reality Steve suggested he doesn’t know if Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 will even happen.

Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 ideally brings fan-favorite contestants from past seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette to the beaches of Mexico. Fans already have their picks regarding who they want to see on the beach from Clayton’s season. Additionally, Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette featured a number of guys fans would also love to see connect with the women from the show.

So, when is the next season of Bachelor in Paradise? So far, ABC has yet to officially announce the show’s return. Bustle reports the season reliably airs in August, though. If the show does return, fans can expect to see a premiere date in late summer headed into fall 2022.

As for the host, Jesse Palmer did a fantastic job hosting Clayton’s season of The Bachelor. But, similar to Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, fans should expect a rotating cast of celebrities to potentially host the show. Last season, celebrity hosts included David Spade, Lil Jon, and Tituss Burgess, among many others.

Reality Steve suggested the show might not return

Bachelor Nation fans would be thrilled to get Bachelor in Paradise Season 8. But there’s a chance the show might not return for another season. CinemaBlend reports season 7 experienced lower ratings, and ABC could possibly choose to ditch the spinoff altogether.

“This is strictly a prediction on my part, but I have a feeling Paradise might be done,” Reality Steve said after season 7 aired, according to CinemaBlend. “It didn’t do well this past season, the format is getting old and tired, and … well, that’s just my prediction. I could be dead wrong but just looking at the overall picture, filming schedules and whatnot, and IF two Bachelor seasons and 1 Bachelorette season per calendar year becomes the norm, I almost think they have to get rid of Paradise.”

We know that Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey are both the next leads for The Bachelorette — but they won’t individually get their own seasons. They’re joining forces for one season of the show. Additionally, rumors suggested ABC would give fans back-to-back seasons of The Bachelor in 2022, but that’s not happening.
