āResentment is such a powerful and destructive emotion and in my experience is more complex than hate or anger,ā Kesha said in a statement, according to Pitchfork. On this track, the narrator sings about a toxic relationship and the emotions attached to this person.Ā

Since its Spotify debut, this track has earned over 14 million plays. The streaming platform credits Kesha Sebert as a co-writer on the track, with several musicians listed as featured vocalists. That includes one member of the Beach Boys ā Brian Wilson.

Although the original lineup of the Beach Boys has dissipated, Brian Wilson continues to perform live music. He recently appeared on tour with the Beach Boysā Al Jardine and the band Chicago.Ā
