There is plenty of drama on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but everything has fallen dead quiet behind the scenes. The Giudices and the Gorgas are not on speaking terms despite being family. Not even a car accident has gotten the families talking. Melissa Gorga recently revealed she did not reach out to her niece Milania Giudice after she was involved in a scary accident last week.

Milania Giudice was involved in a car accident

Miliania Giudice was involved in a motor vehicle accident in her home state last week. According to TMZ, Giudice, 18, was driving a brand-new Mercedes convertible through the streets of New Jersey when she collided with another car at an intersection. Giudice was not injured in the crash, but her car was towed from the scene.

Police reports suggest that Milania, set to attend the University of Tampa in the fall, was not at fault for the accident. There is no word on how much damage was done to Milania’s vehicle or whether it is fixable.

Milania doesn’t appear to be shaken by the incident. Following the fender bender, the teen was back on Instagram, posting photos from her college acceptance celebration. She also took to the platform to wish her father, Joe Giudice, a happy birthday.

Melissa and Joe Gorga didn’t check on Milania Giudice following her accident

Despite the accident, Melissa and Joe Gorga remain unbothered. Melissa and Joe are feuding with Milania’s mother, Teresa Giudice, and apparently, all of the kids are collateral damage. Melissa appeared on Extra this week to discuss The Real Housewives of New Jersey. From the sounds of it, the feud between Gorga and her sister-in-law has affected communication between the rest of the family, too.

Gorga admitted that no one was on speaking terms and that she hadn’t spoken to any of her nieces. An accident wasn’t about to change that. She didn’t feel the need to reach out to check on Milania following the crash. She previously revealed that her kids haven’t connected with their cousins, either.

Gorga appeared to subtly blame Teresa Giudice for the family rift, insisting it didn’t “have” to be this way. She also said that she is “done” with Teresa and insists that while she’s fine with the decision, it was not her choice. The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans aren’t so sure about that. While Teresa has plenty of critics, many longtime fans believe Melissa has spent years manipulating situations and creating problems, too.
