Many Nicki Minaj songs have become hits, however, Minaj clearly loves some of her songs more than others. During an interview, she named her favorite songs from each of her albums — most of which are collaboration with famous artists like Eminem and Beyonce. Here are the songs in question — and how the public reacted to each of them.

Nicki Minaj’s favorite songs from Pink Friday and Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded

Rap-Up reports Minaj’s favorite song from her debut album Pink Friday is “Roman’s Revenge,” an angry, aggressive rap battle between herself and Eminem. The chorus of the song is “Rah rah, like a dungeon dragon, rah rah, like a dungeon dragon” — which is certainly unique and memorable. According to Billboard, rumor had it the track was about Lil’ Kim. Minaj denied this.

“No, I’m talking about everyone who has been in interviews talking and I think it’s good for people to hear me respond….” she said. “People have said so much about me, so I don’t ever single anyone out because no one is worth being singled out. No one is worth having their name mentioned out of my mouth and they never will get that.” Minaj’s later comment is dated, as she’s since publicly called people out, such as the time she told off Miley Cyrus onstage at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Although rumors tied “Roman’s Revenge” to Minaj’s very famous feud with Lil Kim, the song was not one of Minaj’s bigger hits. It reached No. 56 on the Billboard Hot 100. While the team-up of Minaj and Eminem had a lot of star power, it didn’t translate to massive chart success.

Minaj’s favorite track from Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded is the dark, minimalist “Beez in the Trap.” In the song, Minaj teams up with 2 Chainz. For a mainstream song, “Beez in the Trap” has a fairly profane chorus. The track reached No. 48 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Nicki Minaj’s favorite songs from ‘The Pinkprint’ and ‘Queen’

For her album The Pinkprint, Minaj teamed up with Beyoncé for “Feeling Myself,” which became Minaj’s favorite track from the album. Both artists bring their A-game to “Feeling Myself” and the track succeeds artistically largely because of their incredible charisma. “Feeling Myself” only reached No. 39 on the Billboard Hot 100, proving that even artist as big as Minaj and Queen B can have commercial missteps.

Finally, Minaj’s favorite track from her album Queen is “Chun-Li.” The title of the song references Chun-Li, the famous character from the Street Fighter series of video games. It includes many playful references to other celebrities and fictional characters, including King Kong, Prince, and Lara Croft. This is the only song on Minaj’s list to hit the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, reaching No. 8.
