50 Cent is known for a lot of things these days. The rapper has been in the music game and growing an empire for more than two decades, but in recent years, he has been pretty heavily focused on building his brand as an online troll. In recent months, he’s upped the ante and proven he is willing to entertain multigenerational beefs, too. He even had a verbal sparring match on social media with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ son. Now, he’s circling back to a longtime feud, mocking Floyd Mayweather Jr. for his recent legal drama.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has found himself in a bit of a surprising pickle. The boxing great has made hundreds of millions fighting over the years, but apparently that doesn’t preclude him from writing a bad check. Mayweather is facing felony charges in Nevada after he allegedly wrote a bad check while buying an Audemars Piguet timepiece from a boutique in Las Vegas.

According to ESPN, court records show that Mayweather purchased the $200,000 watch on December 25, 2024. He wrote a check to cover the purchase, but apparently didn’t have the funds to back it. The check bounced, leaving the boutique in a tight position. He has since been charged with theft of property valued at more than $100,000. Mayweather has not commented on the charges, but 50 Cent has.

50 Cent has seized the oppurtunity to troll Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Whenever there is negative news about Floyd Mayweather Jr., 50 Cent is never far behind with a new punchline and a massive grin. This time around is no different. While 50 just recently trolled Mayweather, albeit mildly, over a paternity lawsuit, he wasn’t about to let a felony charge pass him by.

Shortly after the news broke, 50 took to Instagram to share his thoughts. He addressed Mayweather directly, stating that if he was strapped for cash, he could have just called him. He went on to insist that they could have prevented the situation from getting so “messy” had he just reached out. 50 concluded the message by joking that he wasn’t even mad anymore.

This is not the first time 50 Cent has gotten the chance to troll Mayweather over money, and he seems to take more pleasure in those moments than in any others. He has insinuated that the boxing legend is strapped for cash after a massive lawsuit and the revelation that his real estate claims appeared to be unsubstantiated.

Mayweather’s financial issues appear to be very real. Aside from writing a bad check, the boxer was recently ordered to hand over almost $1 million in back child support for a four-year-old child whose paternity was just established. 50 commented on that, too, but it was less snarky than his usual work.
