’90 Day: The Last Resort’ Season 3: Can You Stay at Thornbury Castle?
The 90 Day crew is headed to the U.K.
A new season of 90 Day: The Last Resort premieres June 1 on TLC. In the third season of the 90 Day Fiancé spinoff series, six dysfunctional couples participate in a unique couples retreat that aims to help them work through their issues and make a decision about the future of their marriages.
Unlike past seasons of the show, which were filmed in the U.S., production for season 3 took place across the pond. The cast holed up at a picture-perfect castle in the English countryside that once hosted one of the most infamously toxic pairs in history.
‘90 Day: The Last Resort’ Season 3 filmed at Thornbury Castle

Season 3 of 90 Day: The Last Resort was filmed at Thornbury Castle, a historic property near Bristol. This Tudor-era country house was built by Edward Stafford, the Duke of Buckingham, in the first part of the 16th century, but he didn’t get to enjoy it. Henry VIII had the Duke executed for treason in 1521. The King then seized the property, later using it as a romantic retreat for himself and his second wife, Anne Boleyn. The royal pair spent their honeymoon there in 1535. Unfortunately, that marriage lasted barely more than three years before Henry also had her executed.
After Henry died, the castle was passed on to his children, King Edward VI and Queen Mary I. The imposing home was later abandoned for 200 years, until it was resorted in the mid-19th century. Eventually, it was acquired by an investment group, which turned it into a 27-room luxury boutique hotel.
Today, guests can book a stay in the same room that Henry and Anne shared in their first days as husband and wife. Several other suites are named in honor of other prominent Tudor figures, including Henry VII, Catherine of Aragon, and Jane Seymour.
