Aubrey O’Day Says Diddy’s Prison Life Is a ‘Vacation,’ Not Rehabilitation
A recent report into Sean “Diddy” Combs’ time behind bars alleged that he was living large. Men who spent time in the same prison unit as him claimed that he has access to contraband items and men willing to provide service to him. Aubrey O’Day, who has frequently spoken out about Combs, likened his prison sentence to a vacation.
Aubrey O’Day doesn’t think that Diddy’s time in prison is difficult enough
Journalist Chloe Melas with NBC News recently shared an investigation into Combs’ time at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), she wrote:
“My breaking exclusive on Sean Diddy Combs — we’ve obtained video of him using a cell phone in prison — and much more.”
O’Day quote-tweeted the post with both praise and criticism. She believes the report shows Combs isn’t rehabilitating behind bars.
“Thank you, Chloe for doing this investigation,” she wrote. “People should understand the difference between rehabilitation and a s****y vacation. The system is broken — this man will come back a worse criminal.”
He is reportedly living a pampered life behind bars
The report into Combs’ prison experience interviewed four men who spent time in the same unit as the disgraced mogul. They claimed that Combs has men who cook and clean for him, and even give him massages.
“This is not some normal s*** you see in jail. This is some rich s***,” one of the men said. “It looks crazy, but again, it’s Diddy.”
They claimed that he has access to contraband materials such as a cell phone, drugs, and alcohol.
“Pretty much the day he arrived, the party started,” one of the men said.
They noted that his fame and money have given him privileges that no one else has.
“He’s a billionaire. People are in awe of him,” said one of the sources. “Money is power, especially behind bars.”
Aubrey O’Day weighed in on ‘forgiving’ Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs
A witness affidavit claimed that Combs sexually assaulted O’Day. While she said that she does not recall this, she felt incredibly concerned after hearing this. O’Day said that she has had to work through this, and hopes that Combs can grow while in prison.
“Do I forgive him? I don’t think that matters to the bigger picture,” she said, per CBS News. “I think that he needs to do the work to forgive himself.”
She added that she has worked to forgive herself.
“I forgive myself. That was the hard one,” she said. “The feelings that I’ve had throughout all of this really come down to, like, forgiving myself for misplacing abuse, or attention, or acknowledgment as love. Those weren’t one in the same. And so I had to forgive myself first.”
Considering her recent statements, though, it seems that O’Day does not believe Combs is doing the work to change.
