During part one of The Valley season three reunion, cast member Luke Broderick admitted to a Bravo taboo: he hasn’t watched a single episode of the season. Broderick’s behavior this season was not well received by fans. As a result, they wanted to see him answer for his actions during the reunion. His refusal to watch makes reflection difficult. He joins a growing number of Bravo stars who don’t watch the seasons of their show.

Luke Broderick joins growing number of Bravo cast members who didn’t watch his season

Season three of The Valley followed Broderick and his fiancée, Kristen Doute, as they adjusted to life as parents. Many viewers criticized Broderick for not doing enough to support Doute as she experienced postpartum depression. He complained about his lack of free time and the changes to their sex life.

During the reunion, Broderick admitted that he hadn’t watched back this season. He said he did not want to relive this period of his life. His comments rankled viewers and his castmates alike. In a response on Threads, Zack Wickham said he was “very annoyed” to hear Broderick say this.

When reality stars don’t watch their season of a show, they lose sight of their castmates’ motivations and reactions. As a result, they don’t understand the scope of the season. This will impact their performance at reunions.

What other Bravo cast members haven’t watched their seasons?

Broderick is far from the first Bravo star to admit he hasn’t watched his show. He isn’t even the first one of his castmates. During a 2024 episode of Watch What Happens Live!, Andy Cohen called out former Vanderpump Rules and The Valley star Jax Taylor for not watching the show.

“You need to watch the show,” he said. Taylor didn’t understand why Cohen asked him some of the questions he did. Cohen explained that Taylor’s lack of knowledge on the season was “part of the reason [there’s] such a disconnect.”

Taylor defended himself, but Cohen doubled down.

“Jax, you gotta watch the show, because that’s what I’m dealing with,” Cohen said. “That’s what I’m working off of.”

Recently, Summer House stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson also admitted they stopped watching the most recent season. The pair found themselves at the center of controversy when they went public with their relationship earlier this year.

“I haven’t been watching the show, but I watched past seasons,” she said in the third part of the reunion. “I have not watched this.”

She said she didn’t want to reflect on the “nasty s***” people would say about her as she watched. Her castmates were vocally irritated by this admission. Her ex-husband, Kyle Cooke, called this a “cop-out.” Her former friend, Ciara Miller, said that this demonstrated “how much you don’t care” about the show.

On Vanderpump Rules, cast member Scheana Shay also caught flak when she admitted she fast-forwarded through everyone’s scenes but her own. This led Doute to call her “unprofessional.” It’s not clear how she feels about her fiancé avoiding this season.
