Bre Tiesi Felt Forced to Participate In Nick Cannon’s Upcoming Netflix Docuseries: ‘Not Thrilled’
Selling Sunset’s Bre Tiesi is no stranger to reality TV. But she admits she wasn’t excited to let cameras follow her for her partner Nick Cannon’s upcoming Netflix docuseries.

For Tiesi, filming for Selling Sunset is completely different than allowing people a look at her real, day-to-day life.
“I think for me, even though I do reality TV, I’m on a show that actually has nothing to do with my real life or my personal life, per se,” she said during an appearance on the latest episode of Hulu’s Get Real podcast.
“Selling Sunset is very much, you know, girls in the office and like, you know, whatever drama. This is like my family and my child and other people that I don’t want any part of. So, it makes it very messy,” she continued.
“I’m barely surviving … I’m not thrilled about it,” the model and real estate agent added.
Cannon’s as-yet-untitled Netflix show will offer “an intimate look at his wildly unconventional life, as he raises 11 children and co-parents with six different moms,” per Netflix. Tiesi has one child with Cannon, four-year-old Legendary Love.
‘Selling Sunset’ star didn’t feel that she could opt out of show
Host Amanda Hirsch asked if Tiesi could have opted out of the show.
“I mean yes, but no,” she replied, adding that it would be “strange” for her not film when her relationship with Cannon would be a topic of discussion.
“I don’t want to be in a position to let someone else have a narrative for me or speak for me or allow one to be created by not being present,” she explained. “So I felt like it kind of was like damned if you do, damned if you don’t.”
Bre went on to say that not all aspects of filming were bad, sharing that she was excited for people to see a “softer” side of her.
Meanwhile, Cannon has said that the show – which will premiere this winter – will answer people’s questions about his unusual personal life.
“People have been fascinated with my lifestyle for quite some time, so instead of letting them make up stuff, I’m gonna give you everything,” he told Us Weekly.
In addition to his son with Bre, Cannon has twins with ex-wife Mariah Carey, three children each with Brittany Bell and Abby De La Rosa, and a daughter with LaNisha Cole. He also has a daughter with Alyssa Scott. Cannon and Scott also had a son who died at 5 months old in 2021.
The Masked Singer host admitted that not all of the women in his life wanted to be filmed.
“They were like, ‘Why are we letting cameras into our homes?’” he said. “I think that everybody’s very comfortable with just keeping their peace. But everybody said that they would do it for me, so I’m appreciative of that.”
