The ‘Love Island USA’ season 8 reunion will stream on Peacock on Aug. 31. The reunion, which was filmed on Aug. 10, will give insight into which couples are still together after leaving the Villa. While some of the couples are still going strong, others don’t seem to have survived the transition into real life. Here are the breakup rumors ahead of this season’s reunion.

What ‘Love Island USA’ couples have reportedly broken up ahead of the reunion?

The Love Island USA couples will give insight into the status of their relationships during the reunion. Despite this, there are rumors that some of the couples have ended things. 

Corbin and Parmida left the Villa as an exclusive couple. While they posted glowingly about one another on social media after leaving, fans have noticed distance between them. They posed separately on the red carpet for the reunion, and later posted photo dumps that didn’t include pictures of them together. Parmida also shared a vague update about their relationship status.

“We don’t really have one. I think we’re trying to work on our friendship,” she said, per Peacock. “We’re both the type of people that don’t like to rush anything. So coming out of the Villa, we decided that, OK, we want everything to come naturally. So if anything, we’re just focusing on like vibing and being friends. Not so worried about the title. You know?”

Fans have also wondered if Melanie and Sincere are still together. They had many ups and downs in the Villa, but fans spotted them together in Los Angeles after leaving. Very little has been heard about them since then, though, so it’s unclear where they stand.

Caleb and Jaiden ended their relationship

Caleb and Jaiden left the Villa on rocky ground. Since leaving, they have confirmed that they are no longer together. Caleb said that after leaving the Villa, they hadn’t seen each other, though they still communicate over the phone.

“Ever since getting back, we haven’t talked at all about what this is, or what we are. I think it’s kinda been assumed that we’re both just kinda living our lives,” he said on Kaylor Martin’s Crash Out podcast.

Because of their status at the end of their time on the show, their breakup likely does not come as a surprise to many viewers.

When is the ‘Love Island USA’ reunion?

The ‘Love Island USA’ season 8 reunion will stream on Peacock on Aug. 31 beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. Andy Cohen and Ariana Madix will host the reunion. 

In addition to relationship updates, the reunion will give insight into unseen drama during the filming, as well as the Islanders’ lives since leaving the show.
