Brooks Marks is bringing up the elephant in the room.

On Wednesday, Bravo dropped the first trailer for the two-part Next Gen NYC Season 2 reunion. In the clip, Brooks spars with castmate and former friend Charlie Zakkour, with whom he’s feuded throughout the season. At one point during season 2, Brooks said that Charlie had “weird and threatening” energy, while Charlie has said that Brooks is “awkward” and makes him “uncomfortable.”

But after a pep talk from him mom, Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Meredith Marks, Brooks is ready to take on Charlie.

“I don’t feel like my delivery is landing,” Brooks tells his mother during a phone call from the reunion stage.

“You’re holding back. You just need to be you,” she advises.

Brooks then decides to try out his new, more aggressive persona on Charlie.

“You’re charming,” he tells his costar. “You were also caught outside the crypto torture house.”

Brooks was referencing Charlie’s links with two men who allegedly held a crypto millionaire captive in an NYC townhouse, torturing him with the goal of getting him to give up his bitcoin fortune. Charlie – who is in involved in crypto trading – was present when one of the men was arrested. While the Next Gen NYC star has not been charged with any crime, he reportedly helped recruit girls who worked at a Manhattan Brandy Melville store to bring back to the mansion.

The reunion trailer doesn’t show Charlie’s response to Brooks’ comments, which elicited audible gasps from several other cast members. But we do see Charlie suggest that Brooks is just trying to puff himself up after being criticized for being a doormat.

“Brooks, you read a comment saying you don’t stand up for yourself more and came in here guns blazing,” Charlie replies.

“I was pretty direct with you about how I felt,” Brooks says.

“No, the f*ck you weren’t,” Charlie says.

Gia Giudice says Brooks Marks ‘popped off’ at the ‘Next Gen NYC’ reunion

Brooks isn’t the only person coming for Charlie at the reunion. Liam Obergfoll calls Charlie’s claims that he never intended to pursue Ariana Biermann “bullsh*t,” while other cast members come to Georgia McCann’s defense after Charlie claims her “lifestyle has been given to you by me.”

During a recent episode of Gia Giudice’s Casual Chaos podcast, she confirmed that Brooks comes out of his shell at the reunion.

“Brooks popped the f*ck off at the reunion. I was actually jumping out of my seat, and I was so proud of you,” she said. “I didn’t want to react, but like you’re definitely going to see my facial expressions … like, ‘This is crazy.’”

The Next Gen NYC reunion event begins Wednesday, September 16 at 9:15 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. Uncensored episodes available to stream next day on Peacock.
