Bunnie Xo Spoke About Jelly Roll’s ‘Disgusting’ Betrayal
One year before Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll’s marriage ended, he opened up about a past affair. Jelly Roll admitted to cheating on his wife early in their marriage. He said that he deeply regretted this, but Bunnie said it didn’t erase the hurt. She shared how she felt after she found out about his infidelity.
Jelly Roll admitted to cheating on Bunnie Xo
Jelly Roll and Bunnie married in 2016. Early in their relationship, he had an affair that led them to briefly separate.
“I don’t talk about this publicly at all, but one of the worst moments of my adulthood was when I had an affair on my wife,” he said on the Human School podcast. “Because it was the first time that I was like, ‘I really can’t get this right at all. I know I’m in love with this woman.’ It just really, really, really blew me back.”
He explained that he was around a lot of people who were cheating on their partners, which normalized it for him.
“I wish our story would’ve went in the way that it never had an affair, and I’m in a way glad it happened, but man, I’m proud of who we are today,” he said. “I truly am.”
He said he put in “a lot of work” to repair their marriage. In 2025, he said they were “stronger than we could have ever been.”
Bunnie Xo opened up about feeling betrayed by Jelly Roll
Bunnie admitted that it felt “slimy” to be at the center of a cheating scandal. The lies her husband told her were the worst part.
“When I had gone through a situation with an affair, it’s not the act that hurts you,” she said on her Dumb Blonde podcast. “It’s the lies. It’s just, like, whiplash.”
She said that it feels terrible to know that other people were aware of the infidelity before her.
“There’s no way to feel good about it,” she said. “Betrayal trauma literally rewires your brain to not trust people, to just feel disgusting because you’re the last to know. Nobody ever wants to be the f***ing last to know.”
She admitted that this was “a different kind of hurt.”
She opened up about whether she will marry again
Bunnie and Jelly Roll ended their marriage this year. In a conversation with Denise Richards on her podcast, both women said they would never get married again.
“I can’t do it,” she said. “I will never.”
Bunnie has previously admitted that she wanted to work on her marriage. Jelly Roll hurt her deeply when he filed for divorce.
