Bunnie Xo’s IVF Heartbreak: Losing Four Embryos Wrecked Her ‘Emotionally, Spiritually, Physically’
Shortly before her divorce from Jelly Roll, Bunnie Xo was undergoing IVF to welcome a child. She said that this was not an easy journey for her. Bunnie admitted that beyond the physical difficulties of IVF, the process put a tremendous strain on her marriage.

Shortly after news of her divorce broke, Bunnie opened up about the end of her marriage. She said that she was struggling through IVF before divorce.
“My hat goes off to any woman, family, couple who is going through IVF because let me tell you something, dude,” she said on her Dumb Blonde podcast. “That is one of the loneliest, darkest journeys you will be on.”
She admitted it was “not a beautiful journey” and “not all bells and whistles.” It also “wrecked” her “emotionally, spiritually, physically.”
Bunnie, who is 46, said that her age made the experience even harder on herself.
“It was so hard on me that for the past year and a half, I became a shell of the person I was because I’m doing these IVF journeys,” she said. “I’m fighting hard just to be able to produce enough eggs to make a baby with my husband, especially at my age.”
She said that IVF also impacted her relationship. Bunnie said Jelly Roll has a “low sperm count,” so he had to take medication that made him irritable.
“He had to get on a bunch of hormones and a whole bunch of medication, which turned him into a freaking nightmare to be around,” she said.
Bunnie admitted that she had several miscarriages.
“I’ve never talked about this, but J and I have lost four embryos,” she said. “We’ve had three transfers, but we lost the two twins that we were gonna try to have, and then we lost the other two. And anybody that’s going through that and has to deal with these miscarriages, It’s gut-wrenching.”

Though the marriage is over, Bunnie said that she still plans to have a child with Jelly Roll. She is still undergoing IVF, and they have picked out a surrogate.
“That’s my f***ing best friend, dude. Like, I love him,” she said. “And you guys are going to be shocked to hear this, but we’re still having a baby. We have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered.”
At this point, though, Bunnie has moved on to a new romance with 24-year-old Dylan Wolf. It’s not clear if this will impact her plans to have a child with Jelly Roll.
