‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ Season 4 Couples Status Update: Did the Show Break the Breakup Curse?
Have the farmers found their wives?
Season 4 of Fox’s Farmer Wants a Wife wrapped up on June 9. This installment of the reality dating series featured a pared-down cast of just three guys – Sean Cavanaugh, Brett Maverick, and Braden Pridemore – searching for the right lady to join them in the country life.
Farmer Wants a Wife touts itself as the world’s most successful reality dating franchise, with dozens of international variants leading to 250 marriages and more than 500 children. Unfortunately, the U.S. version has failed to match the success of its global counterparts. Over the first three seasons (plus an earlier version that aired on The CW in 2008), the show has resulted in exactly zero marriages and few lasting relationships. In most cases, the farmers and their chosen ladies announce their break up shortly after the finale airs.
So, did Farmer Wants a Wife Season 4 break the curse? Well, the bad news is that the season ended with zero engagements. But it wasn’t a total bust.
Who were the final ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ Season 4 couples?
First, a refresh on who each Farmer ended up with at the end of season 4.
Brett Maverick, a 35-year-old horse and cattle farmer from Tennessee, chose Quinn Guterman. Sean Cavanaugh, 22, who works on his family’s farm-to-table produce operation in California, chose Emily Rushnell. And Braden Pridemore, 26, a soybean farmer from Illinois, selected Casey Riemer.
All three ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ 2026 couples are still together
After a string of disappointing seasons, it seems that Farmer Wants a Wife may have broken the curse. All three couples confirmed to People that they were still together as of June 2026.
For Sean and Emily, it wasn’t until the show’s cameras went away that things got serious.
“Honestly, after the show wrapped is really where our relationship took off,” she said. “It’s when we really started to get to know one another.”
She added that after some months of a long-distance romance, Sean decided to move in with her in her new place in Georgia. They’ve been virtually inseparable ever since.
Brett and Quinn, meanwhile, are still long-distance. He remains in Tennessee, while she lives in Idaho. They’re taking things “day by day,” Brett said, with Quinn adding that a move to Tennessee wasn’t off the table.
Finally, there’s Braden and Casey, who remain head-over-heels in love.
“Honestly, I’ll be completely honest — I’m so happy,” Braden said. “I’ve really never been this happy and comfortable around somebody.”
While she lives in Tennessee and he lives in Illinois, the distance hasn’t been a major obstacle. They’ve seen each other every two weeks since filming ended and are looking forward to being able to go public with their romance.
“It’s honestly felt so easy,” Braden said. “It hasn’t felt like distance at all.”
