HGTV Star Jasmine Roth Welcomes Baby No. 3, Explains Reason for Daughter’s ‘Old-Timey’ Name
Jasmine Roth is a mom of three!
The HGTV star and her husband, Brett Roth, have welcomed their third child, they announced on Instagram.
Chloe Lou Roth was born on Wednesday, October 7 at 10:33 p.m. in an unmedicated birth. She weighed 6 lbs., 11 oz. and measured 19 inches long.
Brett and Jasmine have two other children, Hazel Lynn, 6, and Darla Rose 2.
Jasmine Roth ‘struggled’ to find a name for baby No. 3
In a statement shared with People, the Help! I Wrecked My House host revealed how she and her husband settled on their little one’s name.
“We really struggled to find a name this time around!” she said. “Who knew three girls would be so hard to name? Since Hazel Lynn and Darla Rose sound like little old ladies on a porch, I wanted to stick with that theme and go with a more old-timey and classic name.”
“Chloe seems like the perfect vintage name, and it was a bonus that neither my husband nor I closely know anyone with that name,” she added. “For the middle name, my mom and my grandma on my mom’s side both had the middle name ‘Louise,’ so ‘Lou’ felt like a modern version of a family name.”
On Instagram, Jasmine has been sharing how she prepared for the arrival of baby No. 3. She transformed a room in her Utah home that had been previously used for storage into a nursery, which she designed in a “grand millennial meets modern English country” style.
“I framed a vintage quilt I got from @etsy, bought the same chair I use with Darla, and found art from a Massachusetts based artist (where Brett and I met!). Everything is intentional and so special with this being our third daughter,” she wrote.
“I’m so proud of how this nursery looks, but I’m even more excited about how it feels,” she shared in another post. “There’s an instant calm walking into this little room and for a third baby, I think that’s going to be hard to come by. I talk a lot about building happiness and today that looks like finishing the nursery before the baby arrives. I’ll cherish this little room forever and can’t wait to see all my girls grow together here.”

Getting pregnant a third time was a surprise, Jasmine has shared. It had taken over a year with medical intervention to get pregnant with her second baby, “so we never expected it to happen so easily this time around.”
She filmed her new HGTV show Roast My Rental while pregnant, “which would have been challenging no matter what, but being pregnant made it exponentially harder.” She managed by tackling “bite-sized tasks” and vowing not to “overdo it.” By the fall, she was back in Utah and eagerly awaiting her baby’s arrival.
“It’s not that I didn’t plan it out – but how was I supposed to plan for something better than I ever imagined? The older I get (I’m 42 yall!) the more I realize that sometimes our body knows things before our brain does. Meaning there’s actually something real to “trusting your gut” and listening to your intuition,” she wrote on Instagram shortly after her Chloe’s birth.
“Today as I let the gratitude set in, and prepare my mind for what’s to come, I’m reminding myself to let go and leave room for the magic,” she added. “I love to be in control, to be in charge, to make things happen…but true happiness comes when we understand that the universe has such bigger plans than we can anticipate.”
