The Modern Family star was spotted dining with Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds, and things looked pretty friendly. So, are they an item?

On Saturday, October 24, Vergara, 54, and Reynolds, 39, had dinner at Cipriani, an Italian restaurant in Beverly Hills. Photos obtained by TMZ show Reynolds reaching across the table to hold Vergara’s hand at one point, while she flashed him a big smile. The interaction looked pretty cozy.
They weren’t alone, though. The pair were joined by beauty entrepreneur Anastasia Soare, founder of Anastasia Beverly Hills, and an unidentified male friend. According to TMZ’s sources, Vergara and Reynolds slipped out of the restaurant together through a back exit at around 12:30 a.m.
Some fans wondered whether the night was a double date, and it’s not the first time the two have been spotted together. A source told TMZ they were seen getting flirty at Doja Cat’s birthday party. According to the source, they seemed so close that other guests assumed they were a couple.
The timing is interesting
If Reynolds and Vergara are dating, the timing is notable. The dinner came just weeks after news broke that Reynolds and actress Minka Kelly had split after four years together. No reason for the breakup was given. Reynolds hasn’t been laying low since. On October 18, a week before his dinner with Vergara, he was spotted with Chantel Jeffries at Miley Cyrus’ Hollywood Bowl concert.
The timing is interesting for Vergara, too. She has been single since splitting from Manganiello in 2023, but her love life has been picked apart since the release of his memoir, Bloodlines. In the book, Manganiello suggested their union was cursed and claimed that, during one period of their marriage, she wouldn’t hug him even when he asked.

Vergara isn’t saying much either way. When photographers caught up with her in Beverly Hills on Monday and asked about Reynolds, she simply fixed her hair and stayed silent. Neither star’s representatives have commented on the rumors.
