As Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s legal battle rages on, she claims to have videos of him berating her. In the clips, Taylor allegedly criticizes Cartwright for her weight and tells her to be more like her Vanderpump Rules castmates Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney. Though he openly criticized both women on Vanderpump Rules, he disparaged Cartwright by using them.

Jax Taylor allegedly compared Brittany Cartwright to her ‘Vanderpump Rules’ castmates

On Vanderpump Rules, Taylor could be extremely critical of both Maloney and Madix. He was even harsher on Cartwright. According to transcripts acquired by TMZ, he allegedly also berated her off camera. In one video from 2017, Taylor allegedly criticized Cartwright’s weight.

“I don’t need that s***. I want a confident f***ing skinny-a** b**** that’s gonna f***ing walk around and be like, ‘Yeah, go ahead, do what you wanna do.’ I don’t need some f***ing little b**** that’s going to be crying.”

He added, “Grow the f*** up, dude. Stop f***ing eating, go to the damn gym. Be a skinny girl that’s on TV, not a f***ing fat b****.”

He slammed her for watching television and told her that he did not want a girlfriend. He also compared her to her co-stars, Madix and Maloney.

“Ariana, Katie … they all do something and they’re rich as f***,” he said. “They do something every day. What do you do? Sit around, just get bigger. That’s all you do.”

Brittany Cartwright received a restraining order against Jax Taylor

In August, Cartwright received a temporary restraining order against Taylor. She has accused him of domestic violence.

This month, Taylor filed a request asking the court to deny Cartwright’s restraining order and requested one against her. He claimed that she wants to paint him as “an abuser” and “seems determined to make this a label that sticks, even though [he has] done nothing to deserve this.”

A judge partly granted and denied this. They noted that they denied part of the request because it required a proper hearing. This will happen later this month.

He claimed he is a different person now

After a judge granted Cartwright a restraining order, Taylor put out a statement saying that he regrets some of his past behavior.

“I made a lot of mistakes and behaved in ways during that period of my life that I’m truly ashamed of and regret and take full responsibility for,” Taylor told Us Weekly. “The person I was in 2024, during the darkest time of my life and at the height of my addiction, is not the person I am today.”

Still, he said he disputed a number of the allegations made against him.

“I got help, went to treatment, and today I’m 1 year and 9 months sober. I’ve remained committed to treatment and therapy, working on myself and changing my life,” Taylor’s statement continued. “There are allegations being made that I strongly dispute. The full story, context and evidence will be addressed where it belongs — in court. I will respect the court’s orders and the legal process.”
