In the call, Evans asks for a police escort to help get Eason off her property, claiming he was trying to take items that belonged to her. She’s heard telling him he needed to leave because the lease was in her name, and the call also touches on a dispute over car keys.
Evans later told Us Weekly that despite an active no-contact order, officers “did not help me at all that day.” She said she provided a copy of the order and that a detective followed up the next day to take statements, but no charges were filed. It wasn’t the first time Evans had called 911 on Eason, but it was their first 911 call from Florida.
August Keen’s 911 call about Jenelle Evans
While Evans was the one requesting help in her most recently leaked 911 call, she was the subject of an earlier one, placed while she was living in Las Vegas. In August 2024, Evans’s then-boyfriend, August Keen, called 911, telling dispatchers his girlfriend was inebriated and had been hitting him all night. He said he was looking for a police escort so he could gather his belongings and stay elsewhere for the night.
Keen also told police Evans was trying to stop him from leaving by taking his keys. Police responded, but as with the call Evans placed about Eason, no charges were filed. Both Evans and Keen addressed the call after the audio leaked online. Keen posted an Instagram statement insisting nothing serious had happened, saying he had “zero tolerance” for domestic violence situations and wouldn’t have stayed in one. He framed the call as an attempt to ensure a “safe end to the night” after a disagreement.
Keen and Evans broke up several months later, with Keen seeking a restraining order against his ex. Evans later accused him of stealing her credit card. It is a claim she’s recently made against David Eason as well.
