Teen Mom fans feel like they’ve watched Jenelle Evans live 1,000 lives. The controversial former reality TV star has had plenty of personas over the years, and they all coincide with the man she is dating at the moment. While Jenelle Evans takes on the interests of her soulmates of the moment, she didn’t do a ton of moving. Now, however, she seems to be making up for lost time. Let’s take a look back at all of her moves as she settles into Florida.

Fans Met Jenelle Evans While She Was Living in North Carolina

When Teen Mom 2 viewers met Jenelle Evans about 16 years ago, she was living with her mother, Barbara Evans, in North Carolina. While she wasn’t born in the state, Jenelle spent her formative years in North Carolina, and seemed pretty interested in staying put, for the most part.

While she moved about a bit within the state, Jenelle didn’t plan any major moves in the first decade of TV stardom. In fact, she seemed to be mostly interested in putting down roots close to where she was raised.

She Briefly Moved to Tennessee, but That Was Short-Lived

While Jenelle and her then-husband, David Eason, purchased property and built a home close to Oak Island, North Carolina, their relationship was anything but smooth. In 2019, after David shot and killed the family’s French bulldog — effectively ending Jenelle’s reality TV career — she took a stand. The stand was ever so brief.

In late 2019, Jenelle packed up the two children she had custody of and moved to Tennessee. She filed for a restraining order and insisted she feared for her life. That fear only lasted a few months. By early 2020, Jenelle was back in North Carolina and back in the home she and Eason shared.

Jenelle Moved Her Kids to Las Vegas to Get Away From David Eason

In 2024, Jenelle and David split, seemingly for good. Jenelle filed for legal separation in February 2024, regained custody of her eldest child, returned to reality TV, and planned a cross-country move. For a fleeting moment, she almost seemed to have her affairs in order for once.

In May of that year, Jenelle Evans completed a cross-country trek and moved to Las Vegas. Initially, she claimed it was for professional opportunities, but it was glaringly obvious to anyone with an internet connection that the move was all about Jenelle’s love interest, August Keen. The relationship was pretty short-lived. Despite that, Jenelle signed a second lease at a new home. In May 2026, that lease was up, and Jenelle made the decision to move again.

David Is Back, and So Is an East Coast Address

Jenelle’s decision to leave Las Vegas seems to be directly connected to her renewed love connection with David Eason. David and Jenelle have been spending time together for months. Though she insisted they were simply “co-parenting” effectively, it’s pretty clear that they are romantically together, despite what she says.

David was on hand when Jenelle packed and moved from Las Vegas to Florida. He packed a U-Haul, helped load her car onto a flatbed, and appeared to be along for the journey. While Jenelle insists she moved to the Sunshine State to give her kids a life on the water, Teen Mom viewers are confident there is a different reason for the big move.
