Kaitlyn Bristowe has built a steady following after her fame from The Bachelorette. Unfortunately, recent rumors suggested she and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jessi Draper were feuding. So, is there any drama between the two women? Bristowe recently clarified that she and Draper are doing just fine.
Bristowe took to Instagram to explain how the feud rumors began. Bristowe originally posted a photo to Instagram of herself eating a funnel cake. “Imagine hating me and I’m just, happy?” she captioned the post. Draper then commented, “Same, girl,” on the post.
“I was just with family, and I’m always so happy when I’m with family,” Bristowe explained in the video. “People were trolling me earlier, and a girl came on and said, ‘People who are happy don’t have to tell us they’re happy.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, it’s not that deep.'”
Bristowe’s photo was then mysteriously deleted from the platform. She then reposted it and wrote, “I already posted this and somehow it got deleted. So if the person who always has some passive aggressive thing to say wants to repeat their comment. Please by all means.” This was in response to “one troll” who criticized the initial post — not Draper. However, Bristowe tagged Draper in the post, causing a frenzy amongst her fans.
“Anyhoo, I just reposted the photo, and then I tagged [Draper] because I wanted her to know that I saw her comment,” Bristowe continued. “And then somehow this turned into that I have beef with her. It’s just crazy how people run with things. I feel like people are so feral on the internet. They’re just foaming at the mouth for women to be fighting.”
Bristowe then posted screenshots of her DMs with Draper, showing the two women laughing about the made-up beef. Draper also commented, “Hahahah ILY,” on Bristowe’s explanation video.
