The couple has been together since early 2026, and a body language expert believes that they are already showing signs of deepening affection. She believes Kardashian didn’t want to let Hamilton go.
Kim Kardashian didn’t seem to want Lewis Hamilton to leave her side
Kardashian recently attended the Singapore Grand Prix to support Hamilton. Body language and behavioral scientist expert Dr. Abbie Maroño with ACE.com said that they showed clear signs of affection when they interacted. They seemed to want to stay as close to one another as possible.
“What’s particularly interesting is the combination of playfulness and familiarity,” she said. “We often associate the early stages of romance with excitement, flirtation, and a desire to spend as much time together as possible.”
She noted that Kardashian in particular had a desire to keep Hamilton by her side.
“As relationships develop, we tend to see greater physical comfort and confidence in how affection is expressed,” she said. “Their interaction appears to have elements of both. There’s an almost teasing quality to their affection, particularly in Kim’s reluctance to let Lewis go, alongside a sense that physical intimacy has already become a natural part of their relationship.”
She believes that this is a sign of the relationship’s solidity.
“There’s a sense of mutual attraction, but also genuine enjoyment in simply being around one another,” she said. “The playful reluctance to separate, the confidence in their physical affection, and the ease with which they interact suggest two people who are not only attracted to each other but have developed a connection in which they feel comfortable, wanted, and secure.”

Dr. Maroño said Kardashian and Hamilton’s relationship has developed great depths in the months they’ve been together.
“Their dynamic appears playful, affectionate, and comfortable, with a level of familiarity that suggests they’ve already developed a strong connection,” Dr. Maroño said. “There’s a natural ease to the way they interact, particularly in how confidently they express affection and how comfortably that affection is received.”
They both seem secure in the dynamic they’ve built.
“They don’t appear to be cautiously testing each other’s reactions or seeking reassurance,” she said. “Instead, there’s a sense that they already know one another well and feel secure in that closeness.”
She has grown increasingly affectionate in the romance
Dr. Maroño also noted that Kardashian has grown more comfortable with showing physical affection since their relationship began.
“There’s also an interesting balance between them,” she said. “Lewis appears more openly affectionate from the beginning, while Kim’s affection becomes increasingly expressive as the interaction develops.”
They also both seem to be equally invested in the romance.
“This suggests a dynamic in which they feel comfortable expressing affection differently without needing to constantly mirror one another. One person can initiate contact while the other finds ways to maintain it, and both contribute to the connection. Their interaction doesn’t feel like one person is pursuing affection while the other is simply accepting it. There’s a clear sense of mutual interest and enjoyment.”
