‘Love Island’: Zach Looked ‘Regretful’ Over Rejecting Kenzie, Says Body Language Expert
During the Love Island USA season 8 reunion, Kenzie Annis discussed her initial connection with Zach Georgiou. While the couple initially paired up, Georgiou ultimately chose to pursue a connection with Kayda Bosse. According to a body language expert, Georgiou appeared to have some regrets over the way he handled things.
Zach Georgiou turned down Kenzie Annis on ‘Love Island USA’
In the first episode of Love Island USA, Georgiou and Annis coupled up. Their connection quickly unraveled when Bosse arrived in the Villa, however. Georgiou told Annis that she was not his physical type. Bosse, by contrast, was.
“I’m so over it,” Annis told Melanie Moreno, adding that Georgiou wanted “a girl with dark hair and there she is.”
Georgiou and Bosse coupled up, leaving Annis single. She ultimately ended up with Dylan Wrona.
A body language expert shared how Zach Georgiou reacted to Kenzie Annis at the reunion
Annis discussed Georgiou’s rejection during the season 8 reunion. According to body language expert Inbaal Honigman with Casino.ca, he seemed slightly uncomfortable as she spoke about their initial connection.
“When Kenzie mentions how Zach was not interested in her, Zach is seen swallowing hard,” Honigman said. “His jaw moves up and down, and his teeth grind a bit, revealing how uneasy he is when thinking back about that part of his experience. He blinks deeply, perhaps regretful for having picked someone else over Kenzie.”
While he may have some regrets, both Annis and Georgiou are content with other connections.
She showed openness and honesty during the reunion
Annis pursued connections with several Islanders during her time on the show. Honigman explained that she was open and honest while she discussed her dating strategy.
“Kenzie is being genuine and authentic throughout,” she said. “When she mentions each guy, she turns around to face them, which indicates honesty. Her arms move by her sides, keeping her torso open and exposed, like a woman who’s got nothing to hide. Kenzie uses sincere, truthful body language.”
Her current partner, Wrona, also seemed open and relaxed as she spoke.
“As Kenzie talks about the other men, Dylan’s hands can be seen around Kenzie’s waist, lightly pinning her onto the seat, grounding her and reminding her that he is with her and that he won’t let go,” she said. “The fact that his hands around her waist are placed low, almost invisible, is a sign that he’s trying to embrace her in secret, just for the two of them to enjoy this connection. He’s not doing it for the cameras.”
